Dr. Roberts discussed the ethical issues in giving patients incidental information from gene sequencing on April 23, 2015.

The 36th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions of the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) was held in San Antonio, TX, from April 22-25, 2015. This year’s annual meeting featured the theme, “Advancing the National Prevention Strategy Through Behavioral Medicine Innovation.” Dr. Scott Roberts presented on the cancer patients’ motivations and expectations for joining genomic sequencing study, and their knowledge of return of sequencing results.
