Ming Li received her master’s degree from the Department of Health & Kinesiology at Texas A&M University in August of 2014. Her research interests include genetic testing, cancer prevention and global health. At Texas A&M University, she assisted with three different projects dealing with the aspects of autism, family health history, and cancer genomics education. In these studies, she was actively involved in qualitative data analysis. In the spring of 2014, Ming did an internship with the Light & Salt Association. As a project assistant, she helped with a cancer prevention and support project within the Chinese American community in Houston, TX. Before completing her master’s degree in Health Education, Ming earned her bachelor’s degree in biological science from Hebei University, China. Ming is currently involved as a research assistant in the MI-ONCOSEQ project.
